ABOUT ME
I can tell we are going to be friends
I'm Ashley, a photographer based in sunny Florida. My journey into photography took a detour from my original plan, which was to become a nurse. When my photography hobby started to become more than just a hobby, I decided to put the nursing plans on hold to see where things went with it. I have now been self-employed, nurturing my own photography business, for the last 15 years.
My husband, Ian, and I met back in high school, but our story didn't truly begin until we found each other again in our thirties. Our daughter, River, embodies the spirit of adventure that binds our family. Named after the mighty Colorado River, our family's journey began during a two-week rafting trip through the Grand Canyon—a trip we'll never forget.
As much as I adore the Florida heat, I'm also a sucker for the rush of snowboarding and the shock of cold water plunges. Ian and I make it a point to take the plunge daily!
And then there's Gilbert, our 15-year-old French Bulldog/Boston Terrier mix. He's been my faithful companion through thick and thin, always there with all the snuggles.
Photography isn't just a job for me; it's my passion. Whether I'm snapping shots on the beach with Ian and River by my side or exploring new locations, my camera is always close at hand.
Enough about me, Let's talk about you!
Bringing Your Vision to Life
WITH A DECADE OF EXPERIENCE, I HAVE GAINED EXPERTISE IN....
Creating a
Comfortable Environment
I prioritize creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for my clients. Photography sessions should be fun, not stressful. I excel at giving clear direction without overwhelming clients, allowing personalities and genuine moments to shine naturally.
Adaptability + Flexibility:
While I value planning and attention to detail, I also understand the importance of flexibility. I'm adept at rolling with the unexpected, ensuring that even when plans change, I still capture stunning shots and
unforgettable memories.
Honesty + Integrity
I recognize my strengths and specialties as a photographer. If a client's needs align better with another photographer's expertise, I have no hesitation in making recommendations. Ensuring clients receive the best possible experience and results is my priority, even if it means guiding them to another professional who can better meet their specific needs.
